This was not for me. I know there's a ton of love for this series, so I wanted to give it a shot, but I just wasn't the right reader for this book.
I enjoy fluffy palette cleansers but this was a little too fluffy for me and didn't really grab me. It went for fluffy, fall, small town vibes only without any substance or depth. The writing style wasn't it for me and honestly it made it difficult for me to trudge through.
The spicy scenes were written in a way that gave me the ick and I just ignored them. They felt like an after thought more than a necessary piece of the story...
I don't think I'll be going back in for the rest of the series after this one.
