Drowning Erin by Elizabeth O'Roark

4.0

Fantastic enemies to lovers story!
Erin and Brendan can’t stand each other.
Mostly because it’s Brendan’s fault for the tension between them.
As the story progresses the reasons behind Brendan’s antagonism is brought to light.
Their misunderstandings and miscommunications just add more to their pile of things wrong.
This is my first read by Ms. O’Roark.
I enjoyed her writing style.
It’s very detailed and descriptive.
In Drowning Erin the story is told in past and present and made it more profound and detailed into how each character is the way he/she is.
The storyline is filled with sadness, manipulation, hold your breath moments.
But also strength,hope and forgiveness.
It’s sexy and the sexual chemistry between Erin and Brendan is sizzling.
The characters are well developed and both have their strong and weak points.
They are believable and very relatable.
I loved reading Erin and Brendan’s hard fought journey from where they started to where they ended up and all the drama and suspense that happens in between.
