Maus II: A Survivor's Tale: And Here My Troubles Began

Wow, what a book (in a good way). To feel the guilt of comparing your life to your parents. To understand the hardships they’ve taken in hopes that you will never experience the same, is a tough pill to swallow. The underlying state of feeling ashamed, that whatever terrible thing that happens to you will never compare to the terrible things your parent had to suffer.
Also a gut wrenching story to read, like genuinely how the fuck do humans think of the scariest ways to eradicate an entire group of people, especially for the most dumbest reasons. Like oh man with mustache doesn’t like people under this religion? okay let’s get rid of them! Like HELLO????
