very interesting to hear the story concocted to explain things from the perspective of how the wicked and good witches came to be. it was very dark and weird in places and i was not a fan of the writing style, particularly the perspective it was written in. i loved the the queer undertones throughout but especially between elphie and glinda, i wish that was incorporated in to the musical. lots of changes made for the creation of the musical that i preferred though. very interesting political themes.
