Immodest Acts: The Life of a Lesbian Nun in Renaissance Italy by Judith C. Brown

5.0

The introduction and chapter notes at the end had the most information about convents and lesbian activities, as well as how lesbiamism was viewed by the church and how they classified it as a sin.
The actual book chapters focused more on Benedetta's rise and fall as a mystic scammer nun.
I loved the whole book! It was easy to read, and incredibly fascinating
