Life in the City of Dirty Water: A Memoir of Healing by Clayton Thomas-Muller

dark emotional hopeful informative reflective medium-paced

3.75

This is a very important read, for those living in “Canada” as well as across Turtle Island and beyond, to understand the effects of our global lives on Indigenous communities. Clayton writes with his heart on his sleeve and leaves all his thoughts on the page. I found the structure and the writing to be less engaging at times, hence why I didn’t rate it higher.
