Hammajang Luck

This book was a blind pick up for a buddy but also because it had the word luck in it for 52 books challenge.

I absolutely loved how this book started off immediately I was hooked and wanted to know why and more about Edie. Why the sudden release from prison?

My heart broke for Andy, Edie's sister, (not sure as to the character spelling because I read this with my ears).

I did not like Angel at all, and found her behavior to be super suspicious.

That being said I absolutely loved the Sci-Fi and futuristic elements in this story. I was sad that the story steered away from that side of things (I could see this being a series).

The world building in this story was fantastic and flowed out nicely and in good pace. I loved the science dynamic with memory and the advancements in technology.

The writing was so atmospheric and I would love to see this on the big screen.

I really enjoyed the crew in this story and how everything came together with the selection, recruiting scenes. Such a quick job but the crew dynamic felt strong. Great representation and depth between the characters, I felt like they each had a voice.

The heist itself had a great buildup with many different mini heists (which I loved) and really highlighted different crew members strength with their abilities. Lots of different scenery to engage with as well in preparation of the heist.

The only question is will they pull off the heist?
