Under An Endless Moon by A.L. Jackson
4.5
4.5 ARC/ALC REVIEW
Under an Endless Moon is book two in the Moonlit Ridge series and follows Otto and Raven.
I am loving this series! After From Here to Eternity, I was stoked to get River’s best friend (Otto) and sister’s (Raven) story and it absolutely did not disappoint. And listening to the audio was definitely the right choice for experiencing this.
I loved the way AL set up this suspenseful, dual timeline story and how we slowly got the story of what happened from the time River and Raven came to the guys and when they moved to Moonlit Ridge. And how Otto had been caring for her and looking out for her all along.
When Raven decides it’s time to spread her wings beyond her brother’s house, but simultaneously has someone after, Otto opens his home to her and the barrier between the two of them starts to dissolve.
The trauma they had both been through was heartbreaking but their connection that formed from it was so beautiful. But the oath Otto had made to River had him a little slower to accept his feelings. But man when they told each other they loved them, I got a little misty eyed. Especially listening to the audio and the emotion from the narrators.
The little twist at the end was PERFECT for their story! Connor Crais and Desireé Ketchum did a phenomenal job! I cannot wait for Kane’s story!
Thanks to AL Jackson and VPR for the early review copies!
