The Afrominimalist's Guide to Living with Less by Christine Platt

3.0

This missed the mark for me. While there were some statistics and arguments for reasons to adopt a minimal lifestyle, like not contributing to fast fashion waste, not falling victim to marketing, etc., the phrases "be authentic" and "live your authentic life" seemed to wash all those hard-hitting deterrence passages away.

This is a short, approachable introduction to adapting to a minimalistic lifestyle with baby steps, and a few ideas on why you should, so I'd recommend it to anyone who has never researched ways to approach this lifestyle and is just beginning to be intentional as a consumer.

Coming in at ~225 pages, it's an approachable introduction to the topic.
