The Curse of Tenth Grave by Darynda Jones

“I mean, I can’t fly or anything. Or stop a bullet. Though I did stop a knife once. With my leg. I still have the scars if you wanna see.”

You know what I just realized? There's no vampires, werewolves, witches or fae in this series. And it's still some badass urban fantasy.

Okay, so I thought we had all (most?) of the puzzle pieces, but nooOOOooo, there's just more whoppers waiting to floor you all over again. The giant puzzle piece we learn about in this book changes the game. I thought we already did that!!!

So, since I can't say much without giving everything away, I'm going to make some notes for myself in that way I do. Okay, ::exhales::, let's start with...hunt, going to Hell, demon gods, The Sentry, brothers?!, memory tampering, prison dimension, progress.

There are still a couple of things I don't get (the young Rocket part, for instance?), but all in all, it's building into something I really couldn't see from only the first couple of books. Pretty cool.
