Capitalism cannibalizes. Tender is the Flesh is a stomach-turning Orwellian social commentary and critique on modern day issues, and what happens when we allow capitalism to devour everything in its wake. A short but visceral read with an ending that will definitely make you think. And, the kind of book that I am fine with reading once — and then never again.
