phoebioli 's review for:
Abaddon's Gate
by James S.A. Corey
I could see this one being more of a 4.5, but didn’t feel like it was a 4. I could feel it was a bit slow in parts, but I always felt it was moving forward and it was a lot to unpack! It definitely was out there compared to the first two, but I loved all the characters and how diverse the character’s backgrounds and stances were. Every character was so incredibly unique and even though I didn’t necessarily love each one, I loved the nuance that each perspective provided. It definitely had a sense of wonder to it that I appreciated and has me excited for the next one!
