The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan

3.5

reread 1/18/23: This book is so...weird. Where is the 3 act structure? The pacing of this is so strange. We spend 50% of the book in Camp Half-Blood...doing Camp Half-Blood activities, then we go to the woods, Meg gets kidnapped, we save her and the book just ends?? Huh??

Parts I liked:
  1. PERCY. I don't remember him being in this book for as long as he was!!! It wasn't even Percy crumbs, it was a Percy slice. Godbless him. <333
  2. I really liked Apollo as a narrator more than I expected. His self centeredness was hilarious and I giggled out loud many times.
  3. I really liked Apollo's relationship with his kids! It was really sweet in a weird way.
  4. Solangelo! Loved seeing their dynamic and I can't wait to read their book!
