Justice League, Volume 6: Injustice League by Geoff Johns

4.0

This I must say was the best volume for me of the “New 52” Justice League. Geoff Johns did an amazing job with issues #30-39 with bringing in Lex Luthor into the Justice League. At first it had a very similar feel of Marvel making Norman Osborne the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. after Secret Invasion, but Luthor seems better put together & smarter than Osborne. The idea of an Amazo virus to rid meta humans of their powers & inadvertently giving humans powers to only burn out their bodies as the 3rd & final stage of the disease was great.
There were some parts of this story I didn’t care for; ie Luthor figuring out Bruce’s identity. The idea of the secret identity seems like it’s becoming a bit of a waste. The whole Luthor making a deal with the Crime Syndicate’s Owlman. I didn’t read that volume, but am still sick of those characters & why aren’t they dead?
This is my last volume of Justice League & am now switching to another “New 52” title.
