There are deus ex machina endings that feel forced and underdeveloped.  And then there are ones so beautifully written that the reader (me) is still crying about ten minutes later.

I did not enjoy Briseis love story, not at first, but by the end I was completely invested and already am planning a reread just to visit the world and Briseis again.
