this book did not really do it for me? i was skeptical about the premise and the writing at first, then i got into it and started enjoying it about halfway through, but the ending felt rushed and unsatisfying. it felt like it was trying to make a coherent political statement but didn’t really succeed.
cool worldbuilding but the plot failed to engage me
