I love it when the Empire did nothing wrong. Well, not nothing, but they weren't the bad guys either like is usually presented first with stories like this. It was pretty painful listening to the grandmasters oppose the Empire in a way that was clearly not a good idea but they were too caught up in an "us vs them" mentality and corrupting others along the way. I was really interested in Simons journey here as he started to come into his own and being able to have his own actions. In short, Alin is a douche, the grandmasters are twats, Lea is heavily interesting, Simon is going to be a badass.
