This book was so delightful and charming! The narrator was a perfect balance of snarky and amusing that set up the world then became a part of the story seemlessly. Sanderson mentioned being inspired by the Princess Bride but what if the girl had like, any agency and he so accomplished this. It has fairytale vibes without being too one dimensional and at times the writing felt almost lyrical. I will have to re-read after tackling more books in the Cosmere to see if there are more nods. I also cannot WAIT for the other books he has coming this year.
