My Best Friend's Murder by Polly Phillips

3.0

my best friend’s murder by polly phillips depicts the complexity of a lifelong toxic friendship. izzy and bec have grown up together most of their life. izzy’s been there through bec’s hardest times and so does the other. however, like any normal friendships that has been there since the earliest of childhood, there’s a dark side of jealousy and silent pettiness that was brought along with them from the past to the now.

what intrigued me towards this book was the concept of it all. a murder of a best friend, very whodunnit. everyone who is everyone is a major suspect before and after it happened. they all have their deepest and darkest secrets that—in a way—is dangerously intertwined with our victim here. following my intrigued self, i chose to pick up this book for the train ride home yesterday and oh the looks i got! hahaha! if you own the arc, surely you’d know how eye-catching and bold the arc cover is and that’s the copy i own so just imagine the looks
