This was a well-written and incredibly powerful memoir. It’s rare that I think everyone should read a specific book, but this is one of those rare cases. Miller does a great job connecting her personal experiences with larger societal and social issues, and does so with detail, urgency, and specificity. I loved this, though it was often very difficult to listen to.
