I originally questioned if The Last Mrs. Parrish really needed a follow up, and after finishing this book I still feel that way. Even though I enjoyed reading this, and revisiting some of these characters, I really doubt the entire premise of the book. I find it very hard to believe that Daphne would so willingly let Jackson back into their lives after everything she did to leave him. I recognize the dilemma she felt she was in with her older daughter, but a few serious talks with her could have avoided this whole situation???
That aside I did like the inclusion of Daisy Ann’s character (from The First Shot) and seeing that whole plot line wrapped up.
