Well… it was and wasn’t what I expected. Dark fantasy ✔️Romance (sort of?) Magic ✔️ a strong main character (sort of?) I’m invested in Viv if only because she needs to know she’s powerful over all her traumas. This book left us feeling like she’s still weak and well minus 1 star because we have to wait until 02/11/25 to learn what the fates actually have in store for her. Additionally, LEON SUCKS. It has to be said.
