Thrilling, exciting, but also a warning to us as humans. I ate this book up and when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about it. It had me on the edge of my seat totally in its grip. I love that the science in it is real and very close to home. If you love Jurassic park you'll love this too, even though there's no dinos. It's maybe a tiny bit predictable in who will or won't die but I don't think that takes away from the quality. It's well written and gritty. I liked the cast and really appreciated the representation of women in police/SWAT/army.
Graphic: Animal death, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Murder
Moderate: Cannibalism
Minor: War, Pandemic/Epidemic
