Catering to Nobody
by Diane Mott Davidson
Meh. I didn’t really like the main character. She was crabby and all over the place. In fact, I found most of the characters unlikeable or just caricatures/not fully formed or believable.
Also, I found myself thinking I had skipped a page or paragraph frequently because some pieces of information came out of nowhere or a conversation ended so abruptly.
And I’m going to complain, again, about the fat-phobic and fat shaming that is all too common. Fat is not a character trait!
