4.0

To be perfectly honest with you, this should be a 3.75 stars from me. I’m so disappointed in so many ways.
The only reason it gets a 4 stars is because of how much I love this series as a whole and as far as final books in a series go, the wrap up of the main story was great.
It was the extra chapters that let me down and they made up more than half of the book.
However the last two extra stories were what convinced me to put the rating back up. I think. I’m still considering it…

Take away some of the boring extra chapters and the chapters that literally? Included? romanticised sexual assault(?????????????????) then you’ve got yourself a brilliant novel, but I don’t think that’s something that I can just overlook or ignore.

Lwj and wwx will always have a special place in my heart and i’ll miss them in novel-form. I just wish I could erase my memory of the incense burner chapter. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable.
