The Night and Its Moon by Piper C.J.

2.0

I want to preface by saying I read this not knowing a lot of the drama that went on and I know that it is being re-released.

This has so much potential as a story. I was sucked into the first 100 pages but by 300 pages, I was surprised that there were still 200 pages left. As I kept reading, there was a lot of redundancy, over explanation, and the characters seemed to regress. The jumping between character perspectives and timeline were sometimes difficult to follow and some of the language really took me out of the story It normally doesn’t take me this long to finish a book, but the last 200 pages or so were hard to get through. Again, lots of potential! Just was a rushed story with inconsistencies. I am intrigued to see where the series goes and I hope a new publisher will help refine the layout and progression of the story.
