Brooke was a lil too dumb. Like unbelievably naive.
Letting your son go in the woods with him alone…really?
Going back out to the house with no service…really?
I feel like any normal person who cannot be entirely sure which of two people that you know extremely well and trust with your life actually ended up being the one who tried to kill you…you would not get close to either of them much less sleep with both off them after… Made it so hard to like Brooke.
The plot was interesting enough to make the book above average but the twist with Shane’s mom was just weird idk.
The twist where Shane was actually guilty and everyone saying he was manipulative and the guard being right all along was good tho.
The epilogue was insane tho
