Summer jobs can be a pain. You often do menial tasks like cleaning, driving, cooking, customer service, human sacrifice; you know the usual stuff. Claire answers an ad that was just too good to pass up. But sometimes things are just too good to be true as Claire soon finds out. I read an another of Adam Caesar’s books last year and loved it. This one was definitely on the creepier side of things as the book gives you a feeling of being unnerved, but you can’t understand why. Just one of the things I love about taking something mundane as a job and make it creepy.
