We dive into that Wicked world that we love so much but in this one we don’t follow Ivy and Ren but instead Brighton. We had met her in the series and she was what we thought of as a side character. She takes center stage in this story and is the main focus for Caden, The Prince.
I really enjoyed seeing this other side of The Prince because we mostly knew him as this villainous guy set out to destroy the world. So let’s be honest, there is some hate that is lingering there. This story humanizes him in a way and actually makes you root for him. Damn him. I really enjoyed his interactions with Brighton and how he challenges not only her way of thinking but just everything that she does.
I really want to see more from these two and the way that the novella ends leads me to think that I will get my wish.
