Anne Truitt: Perception and Reflection by Anne Truitt, Kristen Hileman, James Meyer

4.0

With two lucid essays, this book makes it clear that reproductions of Truitt's work are far from the real thing -- that her works are meant to be circled, inspected from top to bottom, experienced. As good as the photography is, it often struggles to represent the texture and slight gradations of color that are so important to her work.
