Talking at Night
by Claire Daverley
Oh this book is just the swooniest. It’s quiet and thoughtful and atmospheric. I felt like I really got to know this little town, its seaside, its lighthouse. I also got to know the two main characters, Will and Rosie, so well. I loved them. I felt terrible for them when tragedy kept striking. And hoo boy, there is A LOT of personal tragedy in this book. But it also felt like real life. It felt like all the hardest and most beautiful parts of life where you learn how to cope with the worst. And you hold on to the people you love the most. There isn’t a single person I wouldn’t recommend this book to. Adored it.
