I Think You're Wrong (But I'm Listening): A Guide to Grace-Filled Political Conversations by Sarah Stewart Holland, Beth A. Silvers

3.0

There is a lot of good advice in this book, and I think the advice is useful for engaging in difficult or contentious conversations. However, I'm troubled by how little the two authors address that there are different stakes for different kinds of political conversations. Their examples mostly stick to welfare programs and reguluations and avoid political topics relating to human and civil rights. They also fail to address their own privilege in meangful ways. That's too big misses for the period in which they are writing.
