I don't know what narcotics the author sprinkled into this series, but I finished ALL 3 in a week and stopped my life to do so. I am rating ALL THREE 5 stars because they all just had me in a death grip. It jolted me out of a reading slump. I squealed like a small child and could not stop laughing/smiling. I want to read every book by Lauren Layne for the rest of my LIFE.
