Okay so I really wanted to love this book as I heard great things but wow this fell flat. The death of a family member trope. the parental trauma trope. the generational trauma trope and the trauma bonding trope????? TOO MUCH and it was all glossed over way too much. the sexual content felt so unnecessary and also did not fit with the FMC imo. this book just fell so flat.
