4.0

I finally finished this mammoth and I'm ready to read Greek myth again next year.

I've had this book for ages and it was only recently that I picked this up and actually take it seriously. I've always been fascinated with the Greek myths and have read a lot of books about it. However, I have always found an excuse to skip this one. I did not think that I was ready to digest everything. And I was not. Lol.

While I enjoyed the stories and how concise everything was, I found out that I would not mind reading more about these stories if they were turn into their own novels. I MEAN IT. If there would be books for every single story here, I WOULD DEVOUR IT. That's how much I want to experience and live through these stories. In this book, I find that I want more. I don't want the short version. I want the drama, the emotions, and everything else in between. This is very textbook like--of course it is, I assume that a lot of us has been assigned to read this at school at least once!

But yes, I am tired at the end of this. I didn't imagine that I would get enough of Greek mythology, but I think I would take a break from it for a month before I try to go back to these stories. HAHA. But we never know, I have an undeniable love for this.

I would definitely recommend this book for everyone who wants to know more about Greek mythology. This is a very concise and encompassing collection of stories and a good entry point.
