This book literally ripped my soul apart, in a good way of course. Because I’m a girl who is also struggling with similar mental health issues that Charlotte was struggling with. And that just made me develop more of a emotional connection to the character than the actual book. I remember that I used to forget that I was reading about someone else because I just felt like I was Charlotte. Relating to her in so many ways made me think that I was a part of her and she was a part of me.
Graphic: Addiction, Child abuse, Mental illness, Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, Violence, and Suicide attempt
So you just know. This book will rip your heart out, and you will feel everything. But not all at once, trust me when I say that it will last a loooonggg time
