Little Lovely Things by Maureen Joyce Connolly
4.0

Lovely Little Things started out kind of slow for me but as I discovered more of the story and characters It fell quickly into a page turner as I anxiously watched the story unfold. Told in multiple prespectives (one of my favorites) added to the overall feel of the book. You watch the separate journeys of the characters as there separate stories come together and drift apart and reunite at the end. A kidnapping that brings you into the pain, suffering ands grief that pulls parents apart, to the thriving and survival of a child, to the heroism of a stranger, this is one book you'll be wanting to add to your to be read pile if you haven't already read it.

Claire, mother of two studying to be a doctor suspects she's having an allergic reaction. With her husband at work she buckles her two young children into the car to seek medical assistance. Feeling nauseous she pulls into a gas station right up to the bathroom leaves the children in there car races into the bathroom. That's when Claire's life took a huge turn. The bathroom door shuts just as Claire passes out, when she awakens her car with her children are missing. One of the children, Lily, was found deceased by a passerby, Jay, that seemed to have a connection with Claire and the deceased Lily. What happened to the other child , Andrea? Something that stayts at the back of Claires mind always. She doesn't believe that the ashes of her dress but no bones was closure enough. Then one day years later a phone call changes everything.
