How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff

4.0

3.5 Actually it didn’t bother me as much as one might think. I think she used it purposefully to be the juxtaposition between what is “shocking” and what is actually harrowing. It was well done, even if anorexia seemed an excuse for non-pregnancy... Another teen love story would not have worked. What I tended to find annoying was how I thought characters would not behave...e.g. I did not think Daisy would have left Piper with so little fanfare all on her own without a fight!
