Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett

Read this cover to cover in one glorious day, what a delightfully magic read. If this is what we’re calling cozy fantasy, I am IN. Super glad this is a series, as I love these characters and this world and want to spend more time with them.

I read this in a hammock in the middle of summer, but it’s set on an imaginary Scandinavian island and winter is practically a character in the story: this is a perfect book for January, by a blazing fire with a big cup of tea.
