this book was absolutely insane, it goes in between two povs, eve, nate’s wife, and addie, nate’s “mistress” i guess. i’m not even going to summarize the whole thing and just put all the plot twists and spoilers bc i just need to get it off my chest:
-we find out that nate got with eve when she was 15 and was his student and that the poem that he used for her he also used with addie and kenzie
-nate and addie (addie hit her with a frying pan and nate tried to strangle her) tried to kill eve and buried her alive but she got out
-nate abandoned addie and tried to frame the whole thing on her, used the letter against her
-we found out that jay and hudson are the same person
-eve was also a groomer but she was never exposed
-addie was stalking that man in the beginning and he actually didn’t do anything
just a crazy crazy book, would def reread in a reading slump
