I’ve read “A Very Old Man With Enormous Wings” many, many times over the years and am ever mystified by it. A great example of a story that has the potential to be something new each time I read it, because if I don’t find new answers, then I find new questions. Who are we to be entertained by the perceived differences between ourselves and others? Who are we to use them? What of freedoms and bondage? The uselessness of our sets of beliefs, societal beliefs, religious. Folly. Haste. Virtue.

I’ve read it many times. I’m sure to read it many more.
