An utterly delightful mix of all the best parts of Bollywood, YA romances, and a little undefinable something extra. Winnie is an awesome protagonist, and there's just the right amount of drama. I really love all her family members and the details of contemporary Indian American life (the grandmother was my particular favorite). Bonus: the book also serves as a great rec list for Bollywood films. Warning: may make you crave samosas and/or yet another Bride and Prejudice rewatch.
