Not usually a fantasy/otherworldly girly but this was a great way to dip my toes in! These are parallel storylines that take place between our main characters in the real world as well at the world they built during their D&D campaign. As someone who has never played D&D, this story and how it features the whole behind the scenes process of the campaign is so interesting and makes me want to find a group to play to experience it! I loved the focus on burnout and the recalibrating of the FMC to show it’s okay if you want to change your course in life.
