The Lost Stories by John Flanagan

4.0

Going in to this, I wasn't very excited. This close to the end, did I really want to stop and read a series of short stories? And it turns out I did! The penultimate volume, it's a good look back to reminisce about the characters we love. After all, if we didn't love these guys and gals, would we have even made it to book eleven?

Sure, some stories are stronger than others. Yet everyone gets page-time. Some characters (such as Tug) get closure, some characters (Jenny) finally get their chance to really shine, and some (Halt & Crowley) just get those little questions solved that we've always wondered about.
