Read in a 2 person book club with Jules Verne's biggest fan
But actually such a fan of this story, who knew? I've been sleeping on it for 28 years like a FOOL!
Long live ye olde complicated enigma that is mr moody Captain Nemo!! Would die for him. Prof. Aronnax is also a pal and clearly the hero of the story is Conseil every day. Ned is less annoying in the book than he is in the Disney adaptation but he's still scummy. That's my very articulate review of this classic novel.
PS I really want to go to Verne's masquerade parties?? kewl guy.
