We All Looked Up

From the start, I was drawn in by the characters. I wanted to get to know them and see what something terrible, something like the apocalypse, would do to them. The story begins before the meteor was discovered, then the tension begins to build. The reader is allowed to see what the characters were like before, then watch as they are transformed by the ticking time bomb in the sky. By switching POV between the characters, we are given parts of the story at a time rather than spoon fed everything. It was a good read and the ending was exactly as it should be.
