The Renegade Akseli Cyborg by Dianne Duvall
1.0
I eagerly started this latest installment after enjoying the first four books in the series a few years ago. However, I found myself struggling to connect with the story and characters this time around. After listening for 2.5 hours of the 12-hour audiobook, I decided to mark it as a Did Not Finish (DNF).
While Dianne's writing and world-building remain strong, it seems my tastes have changed, and I no longer resonate with this style. Fans who have consistently enjoyed the series may still find it engaging, but it just didn't capture my interest as it once did. Sometimes our preferences evolve, and that's okay. I encourage others to give it a try if they've enjoyed the previous books
