Beyond the Gender Binary by Alok Vaid-Menon

I enjoyed this work (I didn't know whether to say book or not, since it felt more like an essay when I read it).
It showcases several important issues concerning gender non conforming politics (or lack thereof).
However, all throughout the book I kept thinking two things:
1. They mentioned quite a couple of things, almost verbatim, in a "man enough" episode (great podcast)
2. After said episode I found several articles and videos claiming they are a polarising person, since they seem to have said some questionable things regarding little girls and whatnot.
I didn't conduct an exhausting research about them, so I'm not saying condemn them, but do have this in mind maybe, especially before advocating for them. *a comment on the 'cancel' videos about them: if they identify with they/them pronouns, why do people, theoretically from the same non-binary collective, insist on addressing them by 'him'!?? I feel like sending those people a copy of this book.

Because, as I said, it does cover quite a couple of issues, from a very well spoken and clear author, so for the content, YES, go for it!
