This is a very cute and affirming book, and I'm very glad it exists, although it's aimed a lot younger than me. I am going to give it to a charity shop and hope it gets into the hands of a young person who needs it.
In case anyone was wondering, it's relatively light on actual transphobia within the story, but you can see that it would happen if she came out completely. That said, there was also people accepting of her identity, which is also important to show. In light of the current wave of transphobia and in particular transmisogyny, this book is even more important now than it was when it was published.

Graphic: Bullying, Vomit
Moderate: Transphobia
The main character goes by George for the majority of the book, but as it's from her perspective, and she uses she/her throughout (although other characters do not, as she's not out yet), I wouldn't say there was deadnaming in the book.
