My Grandmother asked me to you she's sorry is a book which follows 8 year old Elsa after her grandmother dies on a treasure hunt of sorts to deliver all kinds of apologies and connect to the residents in her buildings.

Fredik Backman always has a way at tugging at my heartstrings. This is probably so far the one that has made me feel the most emotions. Like crying at midnight as the audiobook narrator narrates type emotions. 

I really enjoyed the fantastical elements that this book brought. While I've seen other reviews that disagree, I think everything connected to the real world and it fit really well for me. The characters were intensely real as Backman always has great characters. The whole plotline with
Sam
didn't make a whole lot of sense to me but. to each their own. This is the first time I've read one of his books as an audiobook as opposed to ink on paper, but I do think his writing style transferred pretty well through the audiobook narrator. 

At some points, I did kind of end up being a little drawn out of the story, specifically in the beginning and the near end. In the beginning, it felt more confusing trying to keep track of everyone. In the end, it felt a little too resolved.
